About Me
My approach to therapy respects each client’s unique story and personality, and focuses on their personal goals for the therapeutic process. I value shoring up a client’s coping skills and utilize psychodynamic and attachment theories, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy when appropriate.
After attaining my Masters in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, my work experience includes providing therapy in the private practice setting for a variety of needs, the grief work I have done as a Certified Grief Counselor, and crisis intervention in the community. I have been a therapist for 20 years and genuinely love the work. It has been an honor to be entrusted with the challenges and pain of so many and a great joy to continue serving clients in Chicago and the north suburbs.
